Extended deadline for the payment of the final tax as per the relevant income tax return for 2020

The Tax Department, published an announcement on July 23, 2021, informing that that the submission of personal income tax return 2020 is available through the TaxisNet system.
The deadline for submission of the tax return 2020 for:
(a) employees and pensioners (TD1) and (b) self-employed whose turnover do not exceed € 70,000 (TD1 self-employed),
as well as the payment of the final tax due, is extended until November 30, 2021 (RAA 288/2021).
It should be noted that the obligation to submit a Tax Return (TD1) and (TD1 self-employed) for the year 2020, arises ONLY when the Gross Annual Income exceeds € 19,500.
